sock progress
They're grooowing! I haven't devoted as much attention to these lately, what with my quilt distracting me, but I've reached my favorite part of any sock--turning the heel. Those are just lovely! Turning the heel is my favorite part too. It's the moment where a knitted tube turns into something you can actually wear. Once you have the heel flap stitches picked up it seems like just have a teensy bit more to knit before you're done.
I haven't been very good about working on my socks either. But those are looking great! I love turning the heel too, especially because it looks like such a mess until you finish it.
Such a fun looking pattern! And I, too, believe that turning the heel is Magic. The instructions always make me look twice and suddenly it all works out!
Gorgeous pattern, and the color is to die for!
