That's my goal with the 12 socks in 2012 project ... finally figuring out how much negative ease to use to get good fit! I was scared to try negative ease with socks until I realized I didn't like my baggy first attempts!
Yes ... I was holding my breath, hoping that I wouldn't end up having one measly row (or half a row) of the blue after the heel flap. I was really happy it worked out so I could cleanly start a new color on the gusset!
Yup ... I'm on a mission to finish these this weekend! I love it when you get past the gusset, then it feels so speedy!
