I apologize, I should have mentioned that! It's Knit Picks Felici, in the Moonlit Path colorway. I love how soft it is, not to mention the colors!

That's my goal with the 12 socks in 2012 project ... finally figuring out how much negative ease to use to get good fit! I was scared to try negative ease with socks until I realized I didn't like my baggy first attempts!

Yes ... I was holding my breath, hoping that I wouldn't end up having one measly row (or half a row) of the blue after the heel flap. I was really happy it worked out so I could cleanly start a new color on the gusset!
