FO Friday: Snug

One project defeated in my war against my WIPs ... Snug is complete! I used Lion Brand Homespun in the Ambrosia colorway, and size 10.5 needles. With the larger needles and longer sleeves than the pattern called for (9 inches), this fits my 2-year-old despite the fact the pattern size is "6 months"! Hopefully it will still fit her when fall hits us here in the south, which is usually around November. I really enjoyed the unique construction method this pattern calls for. This pattern will definitely be added to my baby shower queue!

And making good progress on my next WIP to defeat, my cotton candy socks ...

Don't forget to check out the other FOs at Tami's Amis!

  1. Good job in defeating a WIP. It does look very snuggly. Good luck with the others

  2. I love the toddler sweater! I'm not usually a fan of homespun, but it looks great for this project! I'll keep my fingers crossed your little one will still be able to fit in it come Fall.

  3. LOVE the shrug so much I am going to attempt to upscale it for my 6 year old.

Your socks looks so good, can't wait to see them finished.

  4. I just love the little flower button; it's perfect with all the berry tones in the yarn. It must be a bit frustrating, knitting for kids? They grow out of things so quickly!

  6. Beautiful! I hate working with Homespun in crochet, so I'm in awe of your having done such a big project with it, and it looks amazing---the texture of the yarn is perfect for a sweater like this, it looks so cozy and I love the colour, too.
