Love Your Library, vol. 2

My first Love Your Library challenge finish! The original "baby unicorn" on the right now has a playmate: introducing tiny Twilight Sparkle. Technically, she needs wings to be her "princess" self. But I'm calling her DONE.

Pattern: Undersized Unicorn by Rebecca Danger (link to my Ravelry project page)
Needles: size 5 Addi's
Yarn: Hobby Lobby I Love this Wool in Thistle and Purple (less than 50 yards total)
Mods: None except a three-needle bind off instead of grafting the "behind" together.

I'm sticking with the 50 Yards of Fun book for my next Love Your Library project--this time a tiny fox! I'm really enjoying this book. The projects go so fast that it feels like cheating! How's your progress going?

You know I love your toys. They have put me in a toy mood lately and I find myself perusing patterns on Ravelry. I can't wait to see your little fox.

Since my first 3 projects are shawls I fear mine will not go quickly. 70% done on the shawl, just doing the knit on border, but it will be a slog so I have worked on other items to gain gratification. Love the fox you are doing!!

They are addicting since they go so quickly! You have to have a high tolerance for fiddly beginnings though ...

I hear ya! These toys are my instant gratification projects while I slog on some cowls and shawls too...

I love the idea of library knitting. I may have to join in on this next week. *wanders off to look at queue*
