sunday's stitches, vol. 1

sunday's stitches: a moment to slow down and savor whatever your stitching on

I'm determined to do more needlepoint in 2015 ... and I realized that I was my most consistent and productive when I posted weekly with my progress. So sunday's stitches is back! I love this kit, and it would be a perfect pillow to go along with the color palette of my cheater string quilt. So this will be my first project to tackle! I stopped mid-way through the light pink, so I'll continue with that color for now.

See my progress from week to week on past sunday's stitches.

I love your needlepoint. I do that too along with every other craft you can imagine but it has to have a practical purpose. I do belong to YOP Come Blog Along over on Ravelry but I also quilt and cross stitch etc. Right now I am filet crocheting "Jesus" bookmarks for my daughter's bible study group...12 of them or 13 (I forget) and that takes awhile and had not been very blog worthy as it's been the same thing for weeks now! LOL! Love you piece above and I want to really concentrate on finishing projects this year. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! LOL! Have a great week.

That's a beautiful needlepoint. So bright and happy! I keep seeing people taking up needle point again and it makes meet want to as well, as if I had time/space for that.

I look forward to your posts on this lovely needlepoint. Now I am thinking about going through my own needlepoint stash and seeing what I can come up with. :)
