road trippin' day 1
On our first day we started in Starkville, Mississippi and made it to Russellville, Arkansas for a total of 361 miles and six hours of driving. No exciting stops, as we were excited and ready to make as much progress as possible. I'm kicking things off with some yummy String Theory Colorworks self-striping yarn in the "Oeneology" colorway, and a straightforward pattern with a new to me heel, the "strong heel." The pattern is called "Make Your Heels Strong" and is a freebie by Erica Jackofsky. So far so good, but man am I slow at knitting ribbing! This is my first ribbed sock in a loooong time.

It's looking good! Love the colors.
Thanks!
Awesome color combo! I've never heard of a strong heel. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
